The Lexmark Stallions 2013 Practice Jersey

Here is another practice uniform design which I got the concept again with the current adidas practice jersey. This is almost the same with the Drillers and SBC uniform (actually the combination of the 2). My Teammates were really very happy wearing this jersey and they are planning to have order a double if they had to.

The SBC 2013 Practice Uniform

SBC, also known as Sunday Basketball Club is where I play basketball actively with my friends. I've been with SBC since 2010, and currently I am the commissioner of the club. Anyway,  I came up with a concept of a jersey design almost similar to the current design of the adidas nba team practice jerseys but instead of the adidas logo on top I have placed the underarmour :)

The Lexmark Stallions Alternate Jersey Design

Here's the official 2012 Basketball jersey of the Lexmark stallions. The design is kinda simple but this is the first time i have included a team logo on a jersey.

The logo is inspired with the detroit pistons' fire horse :D

Here's the approved design for the lexmark basketball tournament official uniform. Its mimic'd from the washington wizards retro home uniform.

At jcenter mall last year, we participated with their Christmas league(basketball) and we almost had the championship crown, but we lacked players on the final game since most of them were on vacation. We were 1st runner up though.

I am helping a friend from outside the country(she's from Italy) promote her cooking blog site.. It's turningkitchentables.com, it has good articles regarding food, etc.. As what the site author herself says about her site:

"TURNING TABLES: It means to turn plans of someone upside down and reverse the situation; by adding the word “kitchen” the idea it’s just to adapt the meaning to my world!"

I love how the site was designed -- the photography, minimal objects, white space, classy etc... Anyway, feel free to check it.

Vacation vacation!!

Last week, I was on an out-of-town vacation. The place was like 2 plane flights away from cebu(where i live). I enjoyed a lot and amazed since I wasn't expecting that within our small country philippines, there are plenty nice places to travel and one of them is yeah "Sagada", a small town on the north CAR-Mountain province. It's a "mystical" place as the people living there say, and amazing for how they were able to preserve their culture and and never adapted to modernization. And one very important thing, they are good at art ;) Anyway, here are some of the pictures of my travel. I will upload more soon, enjoy! :)

enjoying my new mac mini :D

this mac mini is really kinda small but, but is really a quite capable system. Even with a 4gb ram(yet upgradable to 8-16gb), still performs faster with my office super computer (a high-end Dell Vostro 420). I can run Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Flash all at once with no lags! :> I think I'm in love with this mini machine :)

Away

I've been very busy for the entire year with my fulltime work and still, I was able to work on my "small" sidelines even though I have a small free time — and yeah they're a bit boring design work.. And the timing is very bad since my laptop crashed and its hdisk and batt got destroyed before the year ended and I wasn't able to continue most of my work (and I have no backup for my clients files :( nonono).

Anyway, at least this 2012 I can assure you that everything will be ok and I will be back on track. I just bought a newer, stronger and faster computer --Mac mini 2011. At least this would help me and I would have a better 2012.

Good and Bad (English translation soon.)

Today - saturday, July 9 2011, karon, usa sa mga bati nga adlaw sa akong kinabuhi. Ni back out akong kasabot ug lakaw today for a very small reason which nahimong rason nga bad trip/makasapot jud karong adlawa. Anyway, sa pagmata nako karong buntag, at least naay gamayng butang nga nakapatabang ug hatag nakog gana karong adlawa.

Gamay ra ni siya na butang pero at least, nalipay lang ko :D Proof nako which is kaning akong image na gi-attached ani nga post.



Thank God, gihimo gihapon nimog nindut akong adlaw ron ;)

Team Hangover

Again, this not a design related post. But I designed the poster (see above) fyi. After 4 months of Extra Rice(previous team), Here comes Hangover. With Capt. Jasper Loreto and Jai Cortes added to the Roster, for sure this team is on the Championship caliber. By the way, the guy at the center with the #91 jersey is me.
